Decentralization is when energy and information is evenly distributed across a group. The blockchain is an example of Decentralization. This may be a term you are not used to, but it describes even distribution of whatever we are talking about.

We use the term “decentralization” to describe a healthy way to make decisions together. All of us want to be heard, but if we are not a part of the decision-making process, then we have a tendency to keep from giving our input. This applies to communities and businesses alike. If we are not a part of the decision-making process, then we don’t feel empowered over our work or service to the community.
